Here are some questions we often receive from our guests. Please feel free to approach staff with any other questions you may have.

  • Q1:How can I get there from the nearest station?

    A1:After getting off at JR Tachikawa Station, go out of the ticket gate toward the North Exit (toward Lumine) and go down the stairs on the left hand side. The hotel is a 6 minute walk straight down the street with Mizuho Bank on your right hand side. The hotel is also a 6 minute walk from the Tama Monorail Tachikawa-kita Station.

  • Q2:How can I get there from the nearest IC?

    A2:The hotel is approximately 6.5km on Route 20 from the Chuo Expressway Kunitachi-Fuchu IC.
    It will take about 20 minutes if traffic is smooth. Time will vary depending on traffic conditions.

  • Q3:Is there a parking lot?

    A3:Yes, we offer parking for 6 normal-sized vehicles at 1,000 yen per night per car for guests staying at the hotel. (Reservation required)

  • Q4:What time is check-in and check-out?

    A4:Normally, check-in is from 3PM and check-out is by 10AM.

  • Q5:Is it OK to check-in late?

    A5:Check-in is by midnight but please call if you plan to check-in after midnight.

  • Q6:Can I extend my check-out time?

    A6:Yes, at 1,000 yen for every hour extended.

  • Q7:Is there a cancellation charge? (About cancellation charges)

    A7:Yes, cancellations made on the day of arrival will be charged 80% of the room charge and no-shows will be charged 100% of the room charge.

  • Q8:Do you offer non-smoking rooms?

    A8:Yes, we have non-smoking floors. (2F, 3F, 4F, 7F)

  • Q9:Can we bring pets?

    A9:We're terribly sorry but we do not have rooms that can be accompanied by pets.
    ※Except for assistance dogs such as guide dogs and service dogs.

  • Q10:Will my room be cleaned during my stay?

    A10:Rooms with staying guests are cleaned in the morning.
    If you do not wish to have your room cleaned, please hang the "Do not disturb" sign on your doorknob.

  • Q11:Do you have amenities that you lend out?

    A11:Yes, we offer an iron, trouser press, air purifier, humidifier, blanket, electric stove, and LAN cable at free of charge.
    We also lend out PCs for 1,000 yen per night and DVD players for 500 yen per night. Please note that supply is limited.

  • Q12:Is there Internet connection?

    A12:Yes, all rooms come with wired LAN as well as Wi-Fi connection.

  • Q13:I'd like to send my baggage to the hotel.

    A13:Please send baggage to the Tachikawa Hotel with your stay date and reservation name written on the delivery slip.

  • Q14:Can I send my baggage from the hotel?

    A14:Yes, you can send baggage from the front desk.

  • Q15:Can you keep my baggage before and after checking in and out?

    A15:Yes. However, please note that we cannot accept valuables or fragile items.

  • Q16:Is there a convenience store nearby?

    A16:Yes, there is a Family Mart to the right and a Lawson to the left of the hotel.

  • Q17:Photocopying passport of foreign guests.

    A17:When foreign guests without an address in Japan stay at our hotel, we are required to photocopy their passport by order of laws and regulations set forth by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
